Promote Human Life and End Euthanasia - Brief filed at the New Jersey Supreme Court
It's time that we tell it like it is - the only way to restore civilization and proper conduct is to put G-d Al-mighty back in the center of our lives and the public square.
This may be unlike any legal brief you have ever read.
To defeat the Enlightenment, we can’t use the Enlightenment’s rules of engagement - don’t mention G-d and don’t mention eternal Divine Commands. Following those rules just advances the Enlightenment.
We see where the Enlightenment is taking America and the world. It’s starts with setting rules that only what is logical is legitimate and only what can be observed and measured can be believed. It ends with murder.
Using only logical arguments leaves a person trapped in the limitations of the human mind. Taking G-d Al-mighty out of school and discussion, is the root cause of the well executed euthanasia campaign called the Holocaust.1 And, the increasing embrace of euthanasia in America.
Everything is at stake here.
We pray that the Justices of the New Jersey Supreme Court wake up and reject euthanasia by any name, whether “death with dignity,” “physician assisted suicide” or “medical aid in dying.”
Even when they do, we still have to win back the minds and hearts of the 60% of New Jersey residents who allegedly support euthanasia. That is where the real battle front is.
The Legislature and Courts can only get away with the Enlightenment agenda because the populace is apathetic or embraces it. Innocently, because they went to Enlightenment schools, read its books and watch its entertainment.
This brief is written to educate the Court and the public about the urgent need to reject euthanasia.
The reason?
Not because of a “social compact,” and not because it makes sense, or its ‘bad public policy’.
We oppose murder, including suicide, the most heinous form of murder, because the Torah says,
“He who spills a man’s blood is to be executed, because in the Divine Image of G-d Al-mighty was (and is) man made.” Genesis 9:6.
This is what needs to be said loud and clear.2
We must bring the world to know that every breath you take, and every human being takes, is Infinitely valuable, because it is from G-d Al-mighty.
I hope you will take the time to read the whole brief. I look forward to your comments below.

Here is a copy of the Letter of the Lubavitcher Rebbe discussed in the brief in which the Rebbe says that if the non-Jews had observed the Seven Laws of Noach there would not have been a Holocaust:
Other legal advocates argue against euthanasia and physician assisted suicide by pointing out disparities and how it unfairly disadvantages the sick and elderly: “it is a weapon used to target the vulnerable and the sick that only harms those who need competent and compassionate medical care and community services.” The Alliance Defending Freedom puts these arguments first and also lists as “What’s Wrong with Physician Assisted Suicide” that it “facilitate a culture of death” and “violate the rights of conscience for objecting physicians.” All these are true arguments. But they are limited fairness arguments. Once you argue fairness, then the death lobby will argue that is not fair to make some stay alive against their will, and not fair to make society pay for someone who is suffering and can’t be healed.
In contrast, we take the position that the only way to get America back on track is to make G-d Al-mighty front and center - the commandment against murder is eternal and unchanging and applies regardless of what you feel, want to do to yourself or others, and you think is fair.
The Alliance Defending Freedom in opposing physician assisted suicide goes out of its way to mistakenly claim that physician assisted suicide is not euthanasia. They fail to realize that the Euthanasia Society in America called it “voluntary euthanasia.” Thus, physician assisted suicide really is a type of euthanasia - just that the person is convinced to take the final act of murder/suicide to make it more publicly palatable.
In contrast, in our brief we call physician assisted suicide what it is — euthanasia.
The Alliance Defending Freedom also makes a slippery slope argument.
In contrast, we don’t. One murder destroys the world. Euthanasia must be stopped even if one person participates truly truly “voluntarily” with an infinite number of safeguards in place.
We argue not that this is a slippery slope — rather, physician assisted suicide is the first step of a planned and ongoing euthanasia campaign.
